Eligibility
Senior Law Officer
Officers of Central Government/ State Government/ UT/NCR or Central State Autonomous or Statutory bodies (a) holding an analogous post on regular basis ;OR (b) having at least 5 years of regular service in a post in the PB of Rs Rs 15,600- Rs 39,100 and grade pay Rs 6600 or equivalent; and of
Possessing (a) Bachelor degree in law from a recognized university/institute and; (b) Should be a qualified legal practitioner i.e. advocate within advocates act who has not less than 8 years experience out of which 5 years should be in HC/SC in handling environmental litigation.
Law Officer
Officers of Central Government/ State Government/ UT/NCR or Central State Autonomous or Statutory bodies (a) holding an analogous post on regular basis ;OR (b) having at least 5 years of regular service in a post in the PB of Rs Rs 15,600- Rs 39,100 and grade pay Rs 5400 or 8 years regular service in posts in thePB-2 ,Rs 9300-34800/- ; and Possessing (a) Bachelor degree in law from a recognized university/institute and; (b )Should be a qualified legal practitioner i.e. advocate within advocates act who has not less than8 years experience out of which 5 years should be in HC/SC in handling environmental litigation; OR (c) Bachelor’s degree in law in 1st class of a recognized university with not less than 8 years experience in rendering legal advice.
