CLEBC is proud to present our annual Human Rights Conference.
Date
Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25, 2016.
About
At this annual conference, we address the current and emerging issues in human rights law. We aim to provide those working in this area with a substantive look at the current trends to help them tackle the increasingly complex and sophisticated issues in this area of practice.
Almost all of our topics come from the excellent responses to our Call for Papers.
Topics
We welcome topics related to all aspects of human rights including workplace human rights, international human rights, charter issues, group rights, and any other areas.
Please take a moment to review the agendas from 2014 and 2015 for an idea on what topics have been covered recently.
We do our best to have different topics every year unless there have been significant developments or changes in an area.
Eligibility
At this time, we would like to invite lawyers, academics, the judiciary, human resource practitioners, tribunal members, and all other professionals interested in human rights law to provide us with your suggested subjects together with a brief outline of the topics and materials that you would propose to cover.
Deadline
All submissions received by Monday, 9th May, 2016, will be reviewed and considered by our Planning Committee. We will do our best to get back to you by the end of June.
Submission Procedure
Please send your submissions and any questions you may have via e-mail to: Genevieve Chang, Program Lawyer at GChang@cle.bc.ca
