Think India in collaboration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh (GoUP) invites entries for a research paper. Think India is a student-run initiative which aims to harness the talents of premier institutes for the betterment of the country and its people.
Students from IISc, IIMB, NIMHANS and NLSIU joined together to create a joint forum for the students from premier institutes of India in 2006. A formal forum took placed at the Art of Living Ashram, Bengaluru in 2007.
Call for Entries
In the pursuit of its objective Think India invites entries on the aforementioned themes in collaboration with the different ministries of the government of UP. It aims at the holistic and practical implication of the efforts of the young minds. Henceforth entries submitted to Think India shall be forwarded to the respective ministries of GoUP dealing with the said topic.
GoUP under its umbrella ambition of “active people participation” aims to receive a recommendation in the form of a research paper for its task of policy drafting. Hence Think India is providing a platform to be a part of policy framing.

The entries are invited on the following themes
1) Employment with respect to skill development
2) State university act
3) Primary to secondary quality education
4) Rural welfare
5) Smart village masterplan
6) Women & child welfare
7) Health
8) Investors summit & opportunities and roadblocks
9) Bundelkhand water crisis
10) Human trafficking
Important Note
The students will be provided with an opportunity to present their paper in front of the respective ministries/departments of GoUP. They’ll also be provided with a certificate from the said ministries/departments.
Important dates
Abstract Submission: 15th February 2019.
The last date for entries submission: 28th February 2019.
Paper presentation: 20th February 2019.
