About the organiser and conference:
BSM Legal Advisors & Strategy Consultants in partnership with the United Nations Conference on Trade & Development (UNCTAD) is organising a 2-day international conference on trade & investment laws – TRAIL.
The objective of this conference is to brainstorm on the new emerging laws governing trade and FDI in the digital era; India’s international trade and FDI regulatory regimes; the possible implications of binding rules on electronic commerce at the WTO; and India’s future FTAs and BITs with a focus on BREXIT.
The conference is very timely given that the draft of India’s e-commerce policy has been released a few days back and this could be the first forum for its discussion.
The conference is supported by the Commonwealth Secretariat, Invest India, Centre for Trade & Investment Law, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, Indian Lawyers Association, All India Association of Industries, Zaiwalla & Co., Manchester Metropolitan University, Ex Lege Chambers.
