About the organisation
Bharati Vidyapeeth University’s New Law College, established in 1978, is the premier institute of international excellence in the field of legal education.
It is one of the constituent units of Bharati Vidyapeeth University Pune, recognized by Bar Council of India & University Grant Commission.
The College affiliation is approved by Bar Council of India through Letter No. BCI-D-1029,(2009(1-E.Mtg) Dated 7/7/2009.
The college is also recognized under 2f & 12b of UGC Act 1956. The college is Re-Accreditated with “A+” Grade by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (3rd Cycle).

- LL.B. 3 Year

About the Courses
LL.B. 3 Year
Eligibility
As prescribed by the Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education 2008, the applicant shall have passed the Bachelor’s Degree in any of the faculties of any recognized university.
OR
An examination recognized as equivalent thereto and have obtained 45% of the total marks in case of general category and 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicant.
The maximum age for seeking admission into stream of 3 years bachelor degree course in law is limited to 30 years in general category and in case of SC, ST and other backward class applicants it is limited to 35 years.

B.A.LL.B. 5 Year Degree Course
Eligibility
As prescribed by the Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education 2008, the applicant shall have passed 10+2.
OR
an examination recognized as equivalent thereto and have obtained 45% of the total marks in case of general category and 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicant.
The maximum age for seeking admission into stream of 5 years bachelor degree course in law is limited to 20 years in general category and in case of SC, ST and other backward class applicants it is limited to 22 years.
Total Credit requirement for B.A.LL.B. 5 Year Degree Course: 280
This course has two sections
- Aided section: Intake will be 120
- Unaided section: Intake will be 60

B.B.A. (Law) 5 Year Degree Course

As prescribed by the Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education 2008, the applicant shall have passed 10+2.
OR
an examination recognized as equivalent thereto and have obtained 45% of the total marks in case of general category and 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicant.
