The Centre for Arbitration namely ‘Centre for Advanced Research in Dispute Settlement’ [CARDS] established under the aegis of Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Vizag. CARDS is a student driven initiative to promote Arbitration as a mode of dispute settlement as well as to encourage students towards choosing Arbitration as their career.
CARDS started functioning from 23rd September 2016. Since its inception, it has successfully conducted four events, two domestic and two international hosted at London, Singapore and Vizag.
The events conducted saw participation from various sections of the legal fraternity and saw speakers from Clyde & Co., Clifford Chance, Allen & Overy, Dentons, Three Crowns LLP, Ashurst, Debevoise & Plimpton, Keating Chambers, Lalive, Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler, Volterra & Fietta, Shearman & Sterling, White & Case, and WilmerHale, among others.
Continuing the trail of events and promotion, keeping in view the objectives of this Centre, we are pleased to announce the 3rd edition of ‘Arbitration Weekend- 2018’ scheduled for 29-30 September, 2018 at Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Vizag.
Eligibility: Open to all [Students/Academicians/Practitioners]
Registration Fee: Rs. 6000/- [ Inclusive of accommodation at a 3-start hotel, transportation, lunches and networking dinner]
