AmicusX is an online platform that brings to every man, a composite platform of knowledge and information, who is interested in gathering knowledge, researching or reading topics on the law.

About the Call for Blogs

Amicusx.com being a forum for bridging the gap between the common man and laymen provides opportunities to every student of law to enhance their writing skills. With the huge success of the first two Editions for Call for Blogs where we received more than 300 articles, we are delighted to launch our 3rd Edition, which will again give an opportunity to the members of the legal fraternity to showcase their viewpoints and analysis of the different legal issues of the world.

How to submit and General Guidelines

  1. Co-authorship is allowed to a maximum of 2 authors.
  2. Submission should be made in .docx only.
  3. References are compulsory. Any statistical data, fact or any other informative text when being used, need to have references to it in the form of footnotes/bibliography/webliography. References should be authentic to be reliable.
  4. The use of tables in the blog is usually not suggested, but if it is imperative to use a table, then the author(s) may.
  5. Submissions that are plagiarised to a level of more than 20% will not be accepted.
  6. Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis.
  7. Only those submissions which are made through the Google Form available HERE will be considered. Submissions made through any other medium will not be considered.
  8. Please save the name of the file as the “Title-Name”. As Anonymity is our policy, please don’t mention your name or institution or organisation’s name in the file. Please enter all your details in the Google Form provided.

Eligibility

Anyone from the legal fraternity can send in their blogs.

Themes

Any topic on Law. Blogs on recent topics will be appreciated, even though that’s not the sole criteria. The writing should be innovative and highlight one’s research.

Important dates and deadlines

No deadline. Early Posts would be appreciated. Submissions would be accepted on a rolling basis.

Word Limit

800-1500 words (exclusive of footnotes).

  • Font Style: Times New Roman
  • Heading: 12, Bold
  • Sub-heading: 12, Bold
  • Body Text: 12.
  • Foot Notes: 10

Rewards

  1. Just like the previous edition, this time also, there is something exciting waiting for the author(s) of the best blog.
  2. If selected, the blogs will be published on our website. However, the aforementioned guidelines are to be followed by the authors.
  3. Every participant will get a certificate of participation and the authors of the published blogs will get a certificate of publication. The Author(s) of the best blog will get a certificate of merit as well.
