National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, a premier Law University in the country, offers MA in Public Policy (MPP) – a two-year multidisciplinary programme with a special thrust on law as an interface between development and public policy.
Fieldwork is an essential component of Public Policy pedagogy. Through this, participants learn how policy success is determined on how policies are grounded on field realities.
After the first trimester the participants spend four weeks in a community facilitated by grassroots organizations. This field work will be carried out in groups of 2/3 participants to develop hands-on understanding on social and political institutions that facilitate or hinder policy efficacy. This component is assessed for four credits.
