CIRC’s 3 Day Summer Course on Competition Law & Practice in India [June 27-29; Delhi]; Register by June 20

Established in September 2005 with the Mission to be a Centre of Excellence on Law and Economics, CUTS Institute for Regulation & Competition (CIRC), is an esteemed institution, which primarily focuses’ on capacity building in the areas’ of Infrastructure &Economic Regulation and Competition Policy &Law.

CIRC is pleased to announce a first ever Summer Course on “Competition Law & Practice in India”, which will be held at Indian Social Institute, Lodhi Road, Delhi from 27th to 29th June 2013 (from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm).

The pedagogy of the summer course will comprise of class room lectures, case studies and discussions. The course is specially designed for law &economics students, career aspirants, CSOs, young lawyers, regulatory professionals’ and teachers.

The course content shall be: Indian Competition Law & Policy, Indian Competition Act 2002, Interface between Competition Law & Sectoral Regulators and Emerging Issues in Competition Law & Practice.

Lectures will be conducted by eminent scholars/researchers/law practitioners/policy makers and renowned law & economics experts.

Participation fee:For Students: Rs. 2500/-+ 12.36% Service Tax = Rs. 2810/-
For Others: Rs. 3000/- + 12.36% Service Tax = Rs. 3370/-

Fee can be paid through Demand Draft/Cheque drawn in favor of “CUTS Institute For Regulation & Competition” payable at New Delhi or through bank transfer. The registration will be on a first come first serve basis.

A Certificate of participation will be awarded to all the participants by CIRC.
