With a humble intention to review the working of the Indian Supreme Court for the last sixty years, the Institute of Law, Nirma University endeavors to invite academicians, judges, lawyers, researchers, scholars, students and every other stakeholder so as to initiate a dialogue in furtherance of this academic initiative at the National Conference on Justice Education on January 23-24, 2016.

Review of Six Decades of Working of Supreme Court of India
Sub – Themes
It is important to stick to the theme.
We are flexible with the sub-themes by leaving it to your choice, however we request you to consider the sub-themes as an Era based on a dynamic Judge of that period.
For example:
1950-1960 The H.J. Kania Era
1961-1970 The Hidayatullah era
1971-1980 The H.R. Khanna Era
1981-1990 The Y.V chandrachud/ P.N bhagwati/ V.R. Krishna Iyer Era
1991-2000 The kuldip Singh Era
2001-2010 The R.C. Lahoti/ K.G balakrishnan era
2011 onwards The J.S. Khehar Era.
Please see that this list is not exhaustive and you may come up with a different research view over the working of Indian Supreme Court.
