The Volunteer Application
We are scheduled to organise more intensive programs and thereby invite applications of those interested to volunteer with us for the same. The nature of work is voluntary and all volunteers will be given a certificate / letter for their contribution.
The work may include:
Coordination work for organising programs
Giving presentations on air/water/soil pollution, environment law and policy, wildlife conservation, sustainable energy, solid waste management, animal rights and other health related issues.
Minimum experience and understanding in the concerned fields will be required.
Organisation of Capacity Building Programs at our Eco Ashram, Thano, Dehradun
Technical work in designing and/or website management
Writing reports, articles, briefs etc.
Process
All interested applicants will have to undergo a two stage selection procedure.
The first stage comprises the sending of Curriculum Vitae (CV) along with the Registration Form available on our website based on which the second stage i.e. the interview will follow for those who’s CVs are selected.
Those finally shortlisted may be required to attend a two days orientation program at Delhi before beginning voluntary work. Outstation volunteers can participate in the training via live video streaming.
College/University students and above may apply.
We look forward to also having people with administrative experience in general and/or field experience/ qualification in any of the above mentioned environmental issues in particular.
The last date for submitting CVs along with the registration form attached below is 31/10/2015.
All students currently pursuing their education will be required to provide a Letter of Recommendation from a faculty member in their institution.

On final selection, the volunteer will be required to pay a one-time registration fees of Rs. 500/- for the expenses borne by the organisation for the purposes of the training, communication and certificates.
It must be noted that the volunteers once selected will still be subject to disqualification in case of any inappropriate conduct during the course of their tenure.
