I had applied personally at the NGO’s office at bodhgaya (Bihar).

Duration of internship and timings
Duration: 3 Weeks, Timings are 8 am to 5 pm
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
On first day me and another intern and a few foreign volunteers were told about the functioning of the NGO.
It has 3 wings. One is the hospital run by it for the poor and destitute, another is the school and hostel run by the NGO for HIV affected children below 14 years of age.
This NGO is run by a foreigner in Bodhgaya.
They provide food for free.
Main tasks
Basically since I was a law student, I was given the task to research on the procedure for the registration of the school, to search on the remunerations to be given to the employees etc.
Work environment and people
The work environment was very good.
Every one was really enthusiastic since most of them were foreigners. So the NGO had multi diversity work culture.
Best things
Everyone was very friendly and the first and foremost free food. 😀
Bad things
Strict with holidays, only Sundays off.

Biggest Lessons
Do not bunk. The director gets really angry when asked for a leave.
