Duration of internship and timings
One month Internship, timings were fixed as bus used to come at 7:30 am sharp and works starts at 8:20 am till 5 pm in the evening.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
When you will enter in the plant first time , since then only you will feel like working in one of the worlds best MNC, surrounded by Honda vehicles and Japanese all around. On first day you will be provided with working uniform and you identity card. As you will be there official member. Legal Cell of Honda is part of General And Corporate Affairs office which is situated in the manufacturing plant only.
Main tasks
My main task was to assist my seniors who used to deal various kinds of consumer, environmental, secretarial etc. kind of disputes. I also attended fortnightly meetings on the legal record of the company and watched the whole process and hierarchy of the company.
Work environment and people
Work environment was good as luckily, I got in a good team . Seniors were eager to teach things which is not usual in Corporate and helped in many kinds of task assigned to me.
Overall , It was one of the best experiences of all internships. I was the only law intern in the company.
Best things
Best part about the internship was food which was provided by the Honda Motorcycle and Scooter Inida Pvt. ltd. and and working hours of the company. We even used to do exercise every morning.
Bad things
Bad thing about the internship was, as a legal intern I had to wear uniform which is necessary for every person of the company just like engineers.
Stipend
No stipend.
Biggest Lessons
Biggest lesson which I learnt was that how to keep disciplined in our life. Honda is full of Japanese and they preach their work. Thats the biggest thing to learn from them.
