While applying for an internship in BHEL, you first need to get a bonafide certificate from your institute.

A letter of approval should be addressed to The General Manager, Human Resource Development Centre, BHEL ,trichy-620014

Duration of internship and timings

Duration: 2 weeks

Working hours: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

BHEL seemed to be amazing at first sight itself. But the first day formalities were little big.

You should get a pass from the security department after getting the approval from HR manager.

Infrastructure was just amazing, even though the outer look was not great. the interior is just beyond awesome, fully centralized AC with a separate cabin for each and everyone..

Main tasks

The main tasks during the BHEL internship include :

1) to find out errors and mistakes in the petitions and deeds made

2) to find out loop holes in the respondent side

3) to update about the case to higher officials

Work environment and people

Work environment was really so pleasant, lovely and created a mood to work more all the time.

People there are so friendly and helped in all ways and taught so many things. They were so helpful.

Best things

Best things include the work environment, knowledge gain, officers there share their work experience , canteen (lunch for 40 paise), tea in morning break and eve break.

Bad things

Only bad thing is the location.

But if you have a bicycle our scooty or bike with u then its no more a issue !

Biggest Lessons

the whole lot about writ petition …daily the legal dpt head used to spend half an hour teaching me completely about writs and contract deeds

Any Other Thing

Even though its very difficult to get an internship approval in legal department of BHEL its worth the effort.

You can learn a lots from the internship, I can assure you that you can learn at least 4-5 issues daily which will be very helpful.
