Application Process
One can apply by sending an application letter along with the recommendation letter issued by the college to the office of the BHRC.
Duration of internship and timings
21 days (Month of January)
We were asked to report at sharp 10 am and we were allowed to leave at 2 pm.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
First day we were asked to do formalities related to the attendance, further we were taught what to do and how to do work over there.
First day only we were assigned our work. Office was not very big but the room (conference room) assigned to us was comfortable where a group of 20 people worked together.
Main tasks
Main task which were assigned to us was to read various complaints filed by peoples from all over the Bihar and then to make a report of each and every case every day. We had to choose closed files, whose judgment had been given.
Those files were written in Hindi and we had to translate it into English and make the project which we had to submit at the end of the internship. As a final task we were asked to submit a report consisting of details of all the work done by us.
Work environment and people
Environment of the office was good as in our batch only girls were there and they were very good. We had good time together.
Not to forget, the only person who helped us and guided us throughout our internship period was Neeraj Kumar. He is a great person and the only person whom we saw working all the time.
Best things
There were not much work to do so we enjoyed with others. Best part of the internship was that we were addressed twice by different professors of different university and those lectures were quite beneficial for us. We also got the opportunity to attend the function where CM of Bihar was the chief guest.
Bad things
As we were not having much work so we got very few learning experience.
Stipend
No
Biggest Lessons
Biggest lesson learned over there is that if you wanna do your internship seriously you should get to know about that place early before you are going to do your internship.
Any Other Thing
Working over there was fun as it was my first internship and since there was not much work to do I got much time to enjoy with my friends.
