Duration of internship and timings

The internship was from November 2012 to December 2012.

The timings were 9 to 5 (plus 1 hour if needed).

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

On the first day, I was introduced to all the team members there and was given my desk there.

Main tasks

My main tasks during the duration of my internship were to edit and proof read articles for the Journal and manage the website, adding photos to the galleries, etc.

Work environment and people

The work environment there was very good. I was working under Prof. Anil Gupta, in his office in IIM Ahmedabad. So, the infrastructure there was very good.

Biggest Lessons

This internship was my first internship and on the first day, I was completely new to working in an office. But it was good as I was eased into the system and my work-load gradually increased. So, all in all, it was a very good internship for me in my first year.
