Puneet Mittal and Associates, Lawyer Chamber Block, New Delhi, 1 Managing Partner with 3 Associates
Application Process
Since one of the associate was my relative, I did not confront any problem while applying for the said internship. But, you can apply by sending your CV and Statement of Purpose to nitin.scor@gmail.com
Duration of internship and timings
6 days a week. Timings generally between 9:00 am to 7:00 pm; Mine was 10 am- 5 pm
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The lawyer under whom I was interning, Mr. Puneet Mittal, initially asked me about the year of study and knowledge and understanding of different laws.
Thereafter, some of the tasks were given by the associates working with him, with their experience in courts ranging from 3-10 years. The infrastructure was awesome (AC equipped Chambers and Office) and he has his Chambers in mostly all the courts in Delhi.
Main tasks
I used to read and analyse case files everyday pertaining to both civil and criminal matters. Further, I was given a lot of research work related to finding relevant judgments for cases to be heard before the court.
Later, we used to go to the courts for hearing the cases analyzed and worked upon by us too a bit.
Work environment and people
The working environment is pretty amazing. The lawyers working there in the chamber are very friendly and cooperative.
I was always preoccupied there with some work pertaining to extensive legal research and attending court proceedings.
Best things
Along with the loads of work given to me,I used to hangout with my co-interns, and check out the places near the chamber.
The most favourite place for hangout was Aurobindo market. And the nearby street vendors selling variety of food dishes at cheaper rate.

No Stipend
Biggest Lessons
I learnt how perseverance imbibes greater knowledge imperative for an intern to act upon in a judicious way.
