Application Process
The Application for the Internship was processed and initiated through an official college Circular. Interested students were to send their updated CV/ Resume to the college official ID, and also to akmllp[at]gmail.com.
The Applications were to be preceded by a cover letter stating the reasons and the purpose of wanting to join the firm.
First Day Formalities Initial Impressions
The first day was an interactive day as the offer letter was published, and the Interns were introduced to Mr. Suman, a partner in AK Mylsamy Associates.
It was a rather delightful experience enriched by Ms. Josephine Sreela, a former associate at AK Mylsamy Associates. The formalities are minimal and the experience is surreal.
Main Tasks
The Interns are required to refer to the NCLT, NCLAT and the SC benches and upload case summaries on the website run by the firm, ibccases.com.
Good Things
The firm has a friendly and conducive environment and induces better learning owing to the quiet and studies atmosphere in the Intern’s place of work.
Bad Things
The firm requires an assurance of work for a period of 1 year which cannot be negotiated or altered.

Depends on the Days worked.

The firm is situated close to the Chennai MRTS Station that can be assessed with ease.
Other Info
The firm has existing interns who were very warm, welcoming and helped adjust to the nuances in the firm.
