First day of internship
I reached office at 10:30 a.m. and a senior introduced me to Sir, Mr. Biswajit Sarkar. He is a very knowledgeable and resourceful person who gave me a brief introduction of IPR laws. He also assigned certain work related to trademark matters that the firm was handling and properly explained how to go about it.
Main Tasks
The main tasks involved assisting seniors in the ongoing trademark matters – filing trademarks, tracking trademark statuses, making synopsis for hearings, research and drafting. We also got an opportunity to write articles on contemporary issues of IPR.
Work Environment, People
The work environment in the office is very chilled out. The work is balanced. Interns do not have much work pressure and at the same time the work is adequate and they can learn a lot. The best thing about the firm is that the seniors are very helpful, friendly and approachable. They will teach you and help you anytime you need.

the best thing about this firm is that you can learn a lot. The founder of the firm, Mr. Biswajit Sarkar is like a legend in IPR and has thorough knowledge on all the sectors of IPR. He also has a number of landmark trademark cases to his credit which is a plus point about this firm as you can get involved in the matters and be a part of it. Interning here also gives ample opportunity to improve your writing skills as you get to do a lot of drafting works and publishing articles.
