The Constitutional Law Society of Tamil Nadu National Law School, Tiruchirappalli is pleased to announce the inaugural edition of Habibullah Badsha Memorial Essay Competition in fond memory of Mr. Habibullah Badsha (1933-2017) who was a former Advocate-General of Tamil Nadu and a distinguished personality in the Madras Bar.
Topic
The Topic of the Essay is “Religion and Equality in Liberal Constitutionalism”
Eligibility
The Competition is open only for Undergraduate and Postgraduate law students studying in any of the recognised Law Schools / Colleges / Departments of the Universities in India.
Awards
The first, second and third best entries will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 7500, Rs. 5000 and Rs. 3500 respectively. A Certificate of Merit will be issued to the top 10 best entries.
Submission Guidelines
Entries have to be mailed to nationalessay.tnnls@gmail.com.
Deadline for submission is 11:59 PM on March 6, 2018.
The maximum word limit is 3000 words (inclusive of footnotes).
Entries should be the original work of the author and plagiarism will be viewed strictly.
