Amendment bill to the NLSIU Act passed by the Karnataka State Legislature is allowing the National Law School to become a State University.

UPDATE [June 30, 3.10 PM]: Mathew Nevin Thomas, the president of the Student Bar Association of NLSIU Bangalore has informed us that the Act has not been amended yet and is waiting the assent of the Governor.

NLS is a state university ! The legislation yo establish NLS was passed the Karnataka legislative assembly.The term “National” is misleading kids !
