First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
I had to be dressed up in black trouser and white shirt, was nervous till I approached sir.
Due to the nature of work I had to go to Calcutta high court rather than sir’s office. There were proper washrooms.
The high court has its own food court and people have multiple other options in the streets outside the court.
Main tasks
I had to take dictations, hear pleadings in various courtrooms and analyse briefs.
Work environment and people
Sir is strict and his junior is friendly. They guided me a lot learn the basic steps.
Work pressure on my part was moderate.
Best things
I could learn a lot and my listening skills were tested.
Bad things
I had to sit idle for most of the times.

Biggest Lessons
If you don’t pay attention while listening to the judge and miss crucial points on times when your senior counts on you, you might get to know what a big lesson is when you get scolded by seniors.

Stayed at home.
