First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
First day the process of internship was done and a lecture was given on the various activities that the organization does and what role you’re to do.
Main tasks
Social and legal related topics such as the women maternity related issues in Madhya Pradesh and all the human rights violation issues.
You are also required to make field visits and make reports for submitting it as petition or PIL in the high court.
Work environment and people
The environment is healthy and cheerful. Interns are also co operative.
Best things
They work with other NGOS as well and therefore are very informed on the issues.
They have support from the Delhi HRLN team and the Indore team also
Bad things
Not that much to learn.
Stipend
Nothing
Biggest Lessons
Don’t expect anything as such but good NGO experience.
Accommodation
I stayed at my home.
Office Timings
Officially 10-4 but usually starts at 11 am and ends by 4 pm. Not that strict either.
