Work Timings
6 days of work, Monday to Friday, the workplace was at the Chambers, Madras High Court and on Saturdays the workplace was office at Besant Nagar.
Main Tasks
Attending Court proceedings and mediation. Research work was given to help the Junior Associate with the case. Reading case papers.
Before, the case came up for hearing, we need to make sure that we read the arguments.
Attended mediation proceedings at the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Center.
Best things
I had the opportunity to witness the reality of mediation and litigation. The interactions we had with Sir was a nice experience.
The Junior Associate taught us whatever we had to know with regard to the cases.
We were permitted to visit any Court. We visited all the Courts in the Campus like the City Civil Courts, Women’s Court, Family Court, Criminal Courts, Small Causes Courts.
The advantage of having a student pass is that you can visit any Court hall in the Madras High Court and no one would question you.
