First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

RLEK has a pretty well campus. It has office, mess and dormitory for boys and girls.

On first day I was asked to read about history of RLEK and I met my co interns. Other then this a form need to be filled there itself.

Main tasks

There was no single work, we could choose work according to our interest. But still we had lectures, helped people in there projects, did interviews, rally, survey etc.

Work environment and people

People there are very calm and helpful. Nobody is strict and are always ready to give new ideas in which we can learn and contribute.

We also had fun activities like street plays, debates, poster making competition etc.

Best things

Best thing was the working environment as nobody pressurized to do any task, we were always allowed to choose work according to our wish.

Bad things

You might sometimes have to sit with no work and do what ever you want.

Accommodation

I stayed in dormitory. RLEK has its own dormitory so students by paying a nominal charge of 120 rupees per day can stay in the campus itself.

Office Timings

Office timings were from 10 am to 4 pm.

We were given lunch break.

Timings need to be adhered strictly.
