First Impression, First Day Formalities, Infrastructure

On the first day Ajar sir introduced us to the team. He briefed us about the work and the timings. The office was a three story building, It was very spacious.

Main Tasks

I was made to research on various legal issues, draft legal notices and research on various cases. I was made to find cases which were related to the cases which sir had to argue in court.

Work environment and people

The work environment was very chill as sir is not very strict but at the same time he used to correct us when we were wrong. The associates were very helpful and amiable.

Best things

1. Sir used to check the work he gave us.

2. Taught drafting by the associates.

Bad things

1. Work environment was too relaxed.

2. Court visits were not very frequent.

Stipend

No stipend.

Biggest Lessons

To build your goodwill, work should be done on time, work should be done properly and not in a lackadaisical manner. If there are any problems regarding the application of law then one should approach the seniors without hesitation.

Any Other Thing

The vending machine in the office was a big plus and also the fact that sir used to travel to Mussorie and Rishikesh too for arguing in the court.

The office timings were relaxed, from 10:30 am to 6 pm.
