I had my summer internship there for 4 weeks from June, 2016

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

PUCL, Patna is really a good organization working in it was really great experience. On my first day of internship we had introduction first of all.

PUCL Patna has two working place in first half we had session in St. Xaviers with father “Manthra” and then in second half we had session in boring road Prabhakar sir and others. PUCL Patna also organize field work for interns.

Main tasks

In PUCL the first 10-15 days are lecture session from different members of PUCL, state president, national president and so on, its great to hear them, those lecture session increased our knowledge a lot.

Then we had field visit in moosahar community’s village and then after we had to submit the report on whole internship and after the submission of report internship certificate are been used

Work environment and people

Working there in PUCL was really very nice it was a great experience every one is so co-operative and nice.

We really had a great time and learning there, atmosphere is so friendly and good.

PUCL also taught us to be a good human. What ever we learned from there will help us through out our life.

Best things

Best part is there is no such work stress. We also had a party there with all sir madam and co-interns at our last working day.

Everyone is so caring there. And field work is also a best thing because through that we face the ground reality of society.

Bad things

There is no bad thing there. Only demerits is two separate working place. But they are trying to come up with the solution to this problem.

Biggest Lessons

PUCL is organization for public. There we learned about the human dignity. Every person have right to live there life with dignity. Every person are equal and we are no one to discriminate.

We had that blockage clear that one should never discriminate on the basis of cast just because a person is of lower cast so we can do anything with them, we can treat them in any way we want is wrong.

We should always help others. We should spread happiness to others. Trust me I did all these things its give happiness to me also.

The biggest joy in the life is to give happiness to others. Trust me no other things gives such a happiness, try it you all will feel good.

Any Other Thing

No other things already said alot. If I keep on saying I’ll write a book on it so I stop here. But really working in Pucl was great it opened up my eyes.

Accommodation

I am from Patna so I lived at home but any student from outside Patna can have Pg n hostel there is no. Of hostels available there in boring road and Buddha colony which is near by work place

Office Timings

Timing is not so strict it was from 10:30 a.m to 12:30 in Xavier’s and then from 1 pm to 4 pm at Boring road.
