First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
My first day of internship was full of Chutzpah and Saudade. On the very first day I was given a file and was asked to read the facts and evidence and research more on that.
Both the DCF and the State Commission, Rajasthan were functioning in the same building but on different floors.
Main tasks
The main tasks included reading the case laws and making brief on it. We also were supposed to listen to the daily hearings in the court.
Also, at the end of the day Sir used to ask us about the cases that we have gone through on that day.
Work environment and people
The work environment was Idyllic & Jocund. I did my internship under Justice N.P. Bhandari, the Chairman of the DCDRF, Jaipur IV.
He was a very helpful, friendly and approachable person. He is a verbal embodiment of positivity and respect for justice.
Best things
The best thing about the internship experience is that I had got a chance to learn how the judiciary is executed.
We sat in the Sir’s chamber when he used to dictate the judgment of any case to his P.A.

Biggest Lessons
The biggest lesson I learnt from this particular internship is that we don’t grow when things are easy, we grow when we face challenges.
Since law works in the most mysterious of ways, things in this profession were not as idyllic as they appear on the surface.
