Duration of internship and timings

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
Not that formal basic interaction with Sir and the other working staff. I was guided about my position and what I was intended to do. A basic explanation about the timing. Details about my exam performance were analysed.
Main tasks
To see the proceedings of the court. Do some drafting work and attend some of the client meetings. I was also required to prepare a file for filing. I had to see the arrangements of files of few cases on which I was working.
Work environment and people
It was a good environment. All other staff were I involved in their work. We used to take random breaks. There was no hurry to get a thing done. Co-workers helped me deal with all situation.
Best things
The help bestowed upon by the co workers random chats about cases and debating about recent cases had a wonderful effect on my speaking and interacting skills.
Bad things
I was given a lot of freedom. I was not versed with the law so was not able to contribute much in the legal section.
Stipend
None
Biggest Lessons
Interning in such a prestigious court where all the famous take place motivated me to work more hard and get into such cases.
The monetary benifits are essential but the biggest challenge is not neglecting the actual field of judiciary. Litigation is one best way to contribute to it.
Any Other Thing
Although sir grants leave but he is quite strict about the time he calls you. Of he wants you to be at some place you are expected to be there without any delay.
Accommodation
I stay in Delhi itself. Lakshmi Nagar is a good location for PG near by the court and cheap accommodation.
Office Timings
The office timings are from 9 am to 3 pm. The timing was flexible. Sir was cool about the internship. I got some breaks and holidays too.
