I got an internship there through a source but you need to apply at least 6 months in advance.

Duration of internship and timings

January 2016

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

First day we were told to report directly in court.

Following which we went to office after the court ended.

We were supposed to take a copy of our CV to the office.

The office is located in his house and is large enough for around 10 people.

Main tasks

In court interns are supposed to be on their feet and get cases bare acts and photocopies.

In office interns are supposed to read files and make notes on them, conduct research and read judgments as well.

Work environment and people

There are around 10 associates in the office and there around 5-6 people in the office staff.

Most of the associates are quite friendly in nature and help you to learn.

Best things

You run around in a court and learn the various aspects which you can’t learn in books.

Rest you can learn through the research in the office.

Really helpful associates help you learn.

Bad things

There are no such bad things it is a great learning experience.

From sir you can learn that you don’t always need to scream to put your point across.

Accommodation

I live in Delhi and travel by car so it was convenient for me but for those who travel by metro Khan market metro station is the closest is the closest.

Office Timings

Supposed to report at 10:30 in Delhi high court when it starts and guys can go home by 8 or sometimes even earlier. Girls can leave by 7.

Working days: Monday to Saturday and you can be called on Sunday if required.
