Application Process
I had made contact to one of his assistant and simply asked to get interned under the said advocate.
Duration of internship and timings
1st June, 2015 – 30th June, 2015
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
First Impression: When I reached at my senior advocate office, I was welcomed with a best office environment I have seen till now.
First Day formalities: One of the assistant let me briefed with the work environment at office such as timings, number of sits and cases etc. and at last I met with Mr. Mahinder Singh Pal and he shared with me some of his great experience in the legal field as an advocate.
Infrastructure: The office infrastructure is nice with stacks of legal books and case files.
Main tasks
My daily main task was to read different suits and cases on daily basis and to form a rough draft over them and after that writting of some applications along with the court visits.
Work environment and people
After being a part of Mr. MS Pal team as an intern, I came across one of the best environment any advocate chamber can have regarding working as well as cooperation. I can say this as during my internship I myself asked various questions at anytime from my senior and he replied with most politely.
Best things
1. The best cooperative environment.
2. You will get experience to deal different suits and cases in High Courts and how to plead before a High Court judge.
3. I will also vote Mr. N.S. Pal among the coolest lawyer I have ever seen.
Bad things
The environment that any intern will get under Mr. M.S. Pal will never point out any bad things there.
Stipend
None
Biggest Lessons
Best Lesson learned is to just deal with the clients in the most lenient way possible.
