Duration
I interned from 4th May to 4th June, 2015, the timings were flexible and was mostly 10.00 am to 4.00 pm and then his chamber from 06:00 pm to 08:00 pm which is voluntary.
First Day Impression
The office is a pro Advocate Chamber installed with all the Law Books and the Service Acts which are mainly in play in courts of Up.
Main Tasks
Main task was to accompany the Standing Counsel to hearings but Sir never minds you visiting the other Court rooms to hear different cases infact he used to tell me to visit some other court rooms where he thought that there was either an interesting case or an interesting lawyer .
He also supervised me in writing a Research paper tracing the 800 years History of Magna Carta.
Work Environment
Work environment is professional yet friendly. He always used to give us case files for the day which we were to analyse and discuss with him later in his chambers which he used to appreciate and also helped us widen our views and legal angle towards various cases.
Good Things
I had the privilege to be present in the hearing of a case of MLA Disqualification in course of which I met Advocate Brijesh Shukla and this is how we get to make contacts with other highly esteemed lawyers while interning in the Court.
I saw how arguments took place in various Courts as the lawyers deal with a variety of cases and judges deal with a variety of Lawyers.
One of the best things is that I made friends with Students of Different college such as NUJS, RMLNLU and GLC Mumbai who were interning in the High Court.

His help .. “He also supervised me in writing a Research paper tracing the 800 years History of Magna Carta” .. is a very, very memorable one to you in future once you entered into real practice of Law. This study will give you an opportunity to understand the History of Magna Carta, Rights of Man, and their relationship between the Fundamental Rights and Human Rights, both individual and collective rights. The tussle between individual rights and collective rights is known to all Human Rights Activists or Human Rights Defenders and activists. MNCs want to control collective rights and transforming them into individual rights of a corporate. As an eyewash such corporates will spend 2% of their profits to discharge their Corporate Social Responsibility.

Once you entered into the Court room naturally almost all Advocates and Judicial Officers will have a look at the new one. It is an inherent trait of Lawyers and Judicial Officers. Real professionals honour the Advocate as an Advocate irrespective of your experience.
As long as you are working as a professional never forget to share your knowledge with others. Such sharing will open new doors in your life. You will get unexpected invitations from various “real professionals.” Genuine Seniors will appreciate the dedicated young Advocates without any discrimination. That wave length is different. Accumulation of knowledge out of academic interest is entirely different from real practice.
