First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
On the first day, I was assigned a desk amongst the associates, 5 minutes after reaching the office and was later on taken around to meet all the associates and senior associates along with my co-interns.
A brief introduction about Trilegal and how things work at the office was also given by the secretary to each one of us. Thereafter, the IT head gave me my login id and password details, and within sometime I got my first task.
Main tasks
Initially, majority of work involved proof reading of documents, but once the associates, senior associates and counsels started trusting you with their work, extensive research comprised of the main task all along the internship.
Apart from that my work included drafting of agreements and preparing project reports.
Work environment and people
Work environment was very serious, however all the associates were happy to provide help and guidance whenever necessary.
Best things
One of the best things was that lunch was provided for by the firm thereby saving the hassle of eating at restaurants everyday.
Besides that, Trilegal offers diverse fields of practice, and thus during a month long internship one gets to research on wide variety of topics & thus helps to realise one’s interests.
Lastly, Trilegal gives you a perfect insight into how things and people work at a big level.
Bad things
The only thing that I thought was bad was the absolute lack of interaction between the partners of the firm and the interns.
