First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The First Day- So I was quite excited on my first day. I wore a Pink shirt and black trousers and got a compliment from the Partner. Though the office is not really spacious but everyone has there own work space and separate laptops.
I easily adjusted to the environment, the very first day as the people are really sweet. I enjoyed my first day.
Main tasks
The firm deals with Intellectual Property Rights, Media and Entertainment. So basically we had to draft various agreements, proofread documents, search case laws dealing with IPR, movies, songs and whatever the case deals with.
Work environment and people
The work environment is very comfortable. The people are very understanding, frank, friendly and helpful. The associates make us understand everything properly and explain each and everything. The Partner is amazing. She takes our care as a mother. We all have lunch together as since it is a media firm,
We get to listen to songs and watch movies also, which is really interesting. We have a kitchen in which we can even cook but coffee and tea are always available.
Best things
The best things are the people, the work we get and probably the friendly environment.
Also, we can wear semi-formal clothes since we do not have to go to Court quite often.
It is very close to the Bandra East station as there is a skywalk connecting the station and our office building. I always wanted to do drafting of agreements which was made possible because of the associates. Our Partner has a small daughter, who sometimes comes to visit the office, which adds to the good things. 🙂
Bad things
No bad things.
Stipend
No stipend
Biggest Lessons
Meeting deadlines, being professional and friendly at the same time and teamwork are the biggest lessons I have learnt.
