First Day
I reached at office around 9:45 am. Sir was on time at, 10:00am. He gave me information about the working of NGO and introduced me to other members of office. They don’t have a big office as its an NGO and they do not take grants from government.
Main tasks
Researching on various social issues, did quite a bit of research on Basmati Rice case. They are parties along with the State of Madhya Pradesh to protect the rights of Basmati producing farmers.
I also worked in areas like filing petitions in environmental issues in NGT, Filing RTI.
Environment
Work environment is great as all of them are just passed out from various NLUs and other law colleges. So they treat interns like friends only.
Best things
They are friendly; so working with them was very comfortable. They told about how to talk to different different kinds of people so that they won’t feel uncomfortable talking to you.
Working on field, teaching students, helping people with legal issues ( basically free legal aid)
Bad things
Office is not that big.

Biggest Lessons
You don’t need anyone’s help if you want to do something good for others. Positive attitude does the magic.
