First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
First day was quite boring. I went to court but till then Sir had left to take the matters and hence I had wait for around 2 hours in his chamber.
Then when he came, he took a small interview. In the meanwhile, I gathered the basic information about the firm from the clerks.
The chamber was (in my view) a little congested for 7 people and when clients came, no space was left inside there.
Main tasks
Attend court proceedings and do some research.
You may have to go to different trial court and apply for certified copy and other such work.
Work environment and people
Work was preliminary but since the people there were good, you would enjoy that.
We used to chatter about the ongoing politics in bar and then move on to national politics. The associates guides you on various aspects of CPC and CrPC.
Best things
Best was the part when I, for the first time, stepped in Supreme Court; and I was like I just want to work here only.
I was fascinated by that and was desperate to end that internship there only so that could have an internship in Supreme Court. (Hehehe)
Bad things
The work was very basic and most of the time, you were sitting idle.
Biggest Lessons
Work hard and work smart.
