Khimani & Associates has an office located at Makers Chambers VI, Nariman Point, Mumbai, comprising of two associates and two paralegals, headed by Adv. Priyanka Khimani, the proprietor of the firm.

Timings? Number of working days per week?

The office is working 6 days a week. The timings are 10:30 am to 8:30 pm. However, one may have to stay back depending upon the workload.

Accommodation: How? Where? Reviews?

Since I am based in Mumbai, accommodation was not an issue, however PG accommodation can be found close by.

First Impression? First day? Formalities?

Khimani & Associates seemed like an informal area to work in. The Associates are young and very helpful.

I was asked to research on a case and proofread a few agreements as the first task. There were no formalities other than having a short word with the head.

Main Tasks?

Main tasks include drafting of agreements, research, comparing and proof reading.

Work Environment? People?

The Associates at Khimani & Associates are young and never treated me as just an intern. They took personal interest in the work I did.

If I made any mistake (Which I did on many occasions), they would patiently point out the errors and answer all my doubts.

Priyanka Khimani, the proprietor of the firm, is fun to work with!

Despite her busy schedules, Priyanka would take some time out to explain a complicated matter and offer feedback on the work I did. She has been a wonderful guide throughout.

I learned a lot under her tutelage.

Best things?

We are allowed to work at our own pace and take breaks when needed.

Since the firm is small, interns are entrusted with a wide range of tasks that include research, drafting agreements and opinions and proof-reading.

Working with some of the biggest names in the music and film industry can be quite exciting!
