Mailed my CV to the firm and was referred to the partner of the firm, Advocate Rajesh Upadhyay.
Duration of internship and timings
I have been working with them for the last 1 month, timings are 10:15 in the morning to 4:30 in the evening (High Court hours) and 4:30 to 7:30 in the evening for various legal works such as drafting and client conferences.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
No such formalities as such, I was all hands on deck from the very moment I entered the chamber.
Infrastructure is good, for there is a library containing various commentaries on case laws all over India and all necessary statutes related to the kind of matter the advocates of the chamber deal with.
First impression, work environment is hectic and I went back home after a good days work and I was very much satisfied with the efforts I put in. Everyday is a new learning experience.
Main tasks
Watching matters in the High court which helps you to learn how leading counsels make their submissions which will help you if you want to become a counsel and drafting of various legal documents and High Court petitions of both the Appellate and Original Side.
Work environment and people
Most chilled out senior you will ever come across, teamwork ethics are excellent.

You end up learning something new everyday- the knowledge is versatile in nature.
