Main tasks:

I have done my internship with Amnesty International India which is situated at Indra Nagar, Bangalore. I stayed there in PG. There are many PG available at that locality. So there is no difficulty for a person from any other state to stay there for internship.

I worked on assignment related to several programs including ‘Justice for undertrials’, ‘Abolition of the death penalty’ and extractive-Coal Mining.

I stayed Internship with Amnesty helped me sharpen having understanding of human rights perspective in India. The whole team of Amnesty is very lovely, caring and dedicated in its work.

Working hours are normal i.e. 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Mostly area of internship is at Amnesty is based on research work. I have very smoothly done my work there. There is no hard and fast rule for anything there. They treat interns with due care and respect.

Interns can have refreshment while working. Since I have very much dedicated in my work there so I could not find any wrong with the functioning of Amnesty and I must say there is no as such there which could be criticized by the interns.

I must record my deep sense of gratitude to Gayastri Ma’am for providing me this outstanding opportunity to work with Amnesty. Further, I pay my sincere regards to Aruna Ma’am, Divya Ma’am and of course to whole team of Amnesty for their love, regard, affection and support.
