About
Moot Court Association (MCA) of the College of Legal Studies, University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun is proud to organize its 3rd National Trial Advocacy Competition from 17th to 19th February, 2017.
We have consistently strived to achieve success with every passing year and we are looking forward to celebrate yet another great year of success.
UPES has successfully organized the previous two editions of National Trial Advocacy Competitions.
College of Legal Studies has this event lined up for the students to showcase their skills and talents as an advocate. This competition is designed for teams comprising of two/three participants, two advocates and a researcher which is optional.
Participants will have an opportunity to perfect their courtroom advocacy skills before learned judges and legal practitioners.
Registration
Interested students may register provisionally by sending an e-mail to upes.trialadvocacy@gmail.com showing your willingness to participate in the event, after which we shall revert with the necessary information.
Selection Criteria
Due to the unique format of the competition and requirement of special arrangements, registration is restricted to only 20 teams, which will be strictly on “First Come First Serve basis”.
Priority shall be determined on the basis of registration completed with a scanned copy of Registration Form from the participating College / Institution / University.
Also, only one team can participate from a College/Institution/University.

17th February, 2017: Inauguration, Registration & Draw of lots
18th February, 2017: Preliminary Rounds & Quarter – Final Rounds
19th February, 2017: Semi – Final Rounds, Final Rounds and Valedictory Ceremony
