14th SLS Pune – Surana & Surana International Technology Law Moot 2015 [Aug 21-23]: Register by July 18

Symbiosis Law School, Pune, in association with Surana & Surana International Attorneys, Chennai is organizing the 14th edition of Surana & Surana International Technology Law Moot Court Competition to be held from 21st – 23rd August, 2015 at Symbiosis Law School, Pune.

The moot proposition this year is based on nano-science and technology, commercial interests and bio-ethics with special focus on human rights at the national and international level.

The competition shall be open to all students pursuing Undergraduate Law Degree Programme (3 Year LL.B or 5 Year integrated LL.B.) in any Law College/Law School/Law Faculty of University in India.

The maximum number of participants per team shall be restricted to 3 out of which 2 shall be Speakers and 1 shall be Researcher. A team may also consist of only 2 Speakers.

Registration:

There will be a two-tier Registration Procedure.

The participating colleges shall have to register both with Surana & Surana International Attorneys and Symbiosis Law School, Pune. The registration opens on May 14, 2015 (Thursday).

The teams must register online at www.mootsite.com / www.moot.in by July 18, 2015 (Saturday)

The participating colleges are required to email the Soft Copy of the Registration Form annexed here in the rules by July 18, 2015 (Saturday) to surana.moot@symlaw.ac.in

Prizes:

1. Best Team – Rs. 30,000/-

2. Runner up Team – Rs. 15,000/-

3. Best Memorial – Rs. 10,000/-

4. Best Advocate – Rs. 10,000/-

5. 2nd Best Advocate – Rs. 5,000/-

6. 2nd Best Memorial– Rs. 5,000/-

Important Dates:

Last Date for Online Registration: 18thJuly, 2015 (Saturday)

Last Date for Submission of Memorials (Soft Copy): 02nd August, 2015 (Sunday) by 09:00 p.m. IST

Last date for receiving Hard Copy of Memorials (Three Copies from Each Side): 05th August, 2015 (Friday)

Judgment Writing Competition: 23rd August, 2015 (Sunday)

Announcement of results of Judgment Writing: 23rd September, 2015
