Papers are invited on various issues pertaining to immigration law to highlight this often neglected area of law. Papers should primarily concentrate on the Indian scenario.

NUJS Criminal Law Review is the only online peer reviewed journal dedicated to further research in the field of criminal law. It is flagship journal of Society of Advancement of Criminal Justice (SACJ).

Lotika Sarkar, who passed away in February 2013, was a law professor at Delhi University in addition to being a founding member of the Centre for Women’s Development Studies and the Indian Association of Women’s Studies.

Mr. Albert Climent, entrepreneur and gaming consultant from Spain having extensive experience of the European gaming markets and part of the FICCI panel on legalising sports betting also joined the discussion via video conference from New Delhi. Mr. Climent stated that as an observer of the global gaming industry, this was an interesting time for the Indian markets as there has been a lot of debate about legalising betting and gaming.

The proposed course aims to familiarize students with the basic terms and terminologies and documentation, used in the process of corporate due diligence including that in the specific area of due diligence in international finance (such as syndicated loan transactions -like facilities agreement, security documents, legal opinion etc) and train students to negotiate various terms of contracts based on the results of the “due diligence” conducted by them on behalf of their clients.
