The work entailed primarily observing the workings of the courtroom, and sometimes assisting the judge with researching for precedents. This was quite possibly because I was in my first year, and a person who applies for internship when they are more aware of procedural and substantive laws, might get more of a workload.

His Lordship is very friendly and down to earth. As he is a well-wisher and also a regular visitor to our University, we had a lot of time talking over many different issues. Office staffs were also very cooperative. By Abhijeet Kumar, NLUO, 4th year

People are very kind and helpful, with very basic formalities. There is nothing to fear or be nervous about. The judge calls you in and asks you about your subjects in college.
