Award winners will be announced in April 2015. The student category winners will each receive U.S. $2,500 and a complimentary registration to the 2015 Annual Meeting.

Participants can submit an abstract on topic of their interest before October 15th 2014. Only those students, whose abstracts are selected, will be allowed to participate in the competition. The abstracts should be sent to essay@rostrumlegal.in before the submission deadline.

The theme is broad in nature. The participants can also take up any particular section/ issue/ changes introduced or any new concept incorporated for writing under the International law. THEME: INTERNATIONAL MARITIME PIRACY IN THE HORN OF AFRICA : INTERNATIONAL LEGAL & POLITICAL RAMIFICATION

A prize has been established by the Society of International Economic Law and Cambridge University Press for the best essay submitted on any topic in any field of international economic law. The prize consists of £200, as well as £300 of Cambridge University Press book vouchers and a three year subscription to the World Trade Review.

First Prize: Rs.25,000/- (Henry Dunant Prize) Second Prize: Rs. 15,000/- Third Prize: Rs.10,000/-

The National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore instituted in the year 1997 a Gold Medal in the name of the distinguished jurist, late H.M. Seervai for the best original essay written on the themes specified in Indian Constitutional Law. The students should send their entries on or before May 15, 2014.
