You will be asked to do research on miscellaneous topics. You have to frame arguments for your party. Also find appropriate case law if necessary. The work was assigned according to our skills. My co-intern was given drafting work whereas my work was confined to research and argument framing. We generally dealt with contractual matters and writ petitions.
