With the adoption of the U.N Universal Declaration of Human rights in 1948, and related covenants in the succeeding decades, member states made a commitment to fundamental human rights for every man, woman and child on the planet. One of the most important components of the effort is human rights education (HRE).

Students are requested to mail their abstracts along with a brief note mentioning their college, course and previous publications/conferences and/or research experience to- forumforsocialsciences@gmail.com with the subject of the mail as “Submission – ‘Name’” in Word format (.doc or .docx) latest by 30th October 2012.
