Mining Engineering Society feels pleasure in announcing that All India Geo-Mining Festival of NIT Rourkela is to be held from 14th Feb to 16th Feb 2014.
It consist of several events, one of which is Nishkarsh- Mining Law based case study.

Law and Legislation is one aspect which every company whether it belongs to mining industry or any other has to comply to. Niskarsh event of Minare’14 envisions focuses to make the students aware of rules and regulation within the mining industry.
Niskarsh is Mining law based case study and first of its kind, where a problem statement of any incident will be given and the students will have to either take up as a defendant or as a respondent and have to present their arguments based on the available act, rules, regulation within the mining and environment legislation.
From this event we are hoping to attract students from law colleges also all over India.
