Rural Technology & Development Centre (RTDC), Palampur, Himachal Pradesh is a voluntary action group, founded in 1988. Over the last 30 years, RTDC has played an instrumental role in facilitating the process of equity based mountain-specific people-centered development that is founded on the values of sustainability and inclusiveness in the state of Himachal Pradesh. RTDC works with marginalized groups such as Mountain Dalits, scheduled tribes, OBCs, women and children, persons with disability (PWD), safai kaamgaars (manual scavengers), displaced people, nomadic communities and religious minorities. Currently, the key thematic area of our work is land and property rights of the poor and the landless.
