CALL FOR PAPERS
Research papers are invited for “Book on Indian Criminal Justice System” on any topic relating to Law of Crime.
The Book on Crime and Justice is an academic effort, that seeks to provide a national forum for the publication of articles in the field of Criminal Law.
The Book is currently soliciting submissions for Issue 1, which will be published in the later half of 2013 with an ISSN number.
We welcome submissions from academicians, practitioners, students, researchers and experts from within the legal community.
We have a strong preference for articles that assert and defend a well-reasoned position.
Suggested topics are given below:
1) ADVANCEMENT OF SOCIETY AND CRIMINAL LAW
2) PRISONERS` (NATIONAL AND FOREIGN) RIGHTS IN INDIA
3) ADVANCEMENT IN I.T AND CRIMINAL LAW
4) IGNORANCE OF LAW IS NO EXCUSE
5) JUSTIFIABILITY OF PUNISHMENTS
6) SCOPE OF IMPOSING JOINT LIABILITY UNDER IPC 7) Criminal Law (Amendment) Bill, 2013
8) THE JUVENILE JUSTICE(CARE AND PROTECTION OF CHILDREN) AMENDMENT BILL, 2010
9) MARITAL RAPE
10)ANALYSIS OF BILLS PENDING IN PARLIAMENT ON VARIOUS FACETS OF CRIMINAL JURISPRUDENCE
Or any other topics. The papers can be review of a case law, review of a book on criminal law etc.
FORMAT
All submissions should contain the following details:
name of the author(s)
professional information
contact information
the title of the manuscript
abstract
the body containing the findings and discussion
Citation : The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation , 19th Edition
Co-authorship up to 2 authors is permitted
The abstract should not be more than 300 words consisting of at least three key-words bearing significance and relevance to the main article and the final submission should be within 6000 words.
Headings should be 14 size font and body should be 12 size font. Texts should be accompanied by appropriate citations.
Submissions should be in MS Word platform, either in .doc or .docx format.
The papers should contain appropriate citations. The final date for submissions is 15th May 2013.

Is this authentic? I mean I am not able to find any such thing on the UPES website!
I am sorry, there has been some typographic error. The proposed book is an edited book which in an individual initiative on part of me(student at UPES) and Mr. G. Kataria(Asst. Professor at UPES), and has no affiliation with UPES.
