The deadline for submitting the forms to the RBI Young Scholars Award Scheme which is meant to “generate interest in and awareness about the Indian banking sector and RBI” is October 22. It should be of interest to law students in India who wish to pursue a career in banking law or want to juggle economics and law for a career. Here is the competition in complete detail:
Eligibility: 18-24 years of age; pursuing undergraduate studies in any subject
Application fee: Nil. Fill the application form here.
Date of the selection test: January 9, 2011.
Number of scholars to be selected: 150
Language of the test: English and all other regional languages.
Examination pattern: Questions will be multiple choice questions and the test will be of 90 minutes duration. Questions on “role and functioning of the RBI, the trend of banking industry in India and general economic and financial environment of the country”. Scholarship: 7500/- month plus assistance in boarding and lodging for 2-3 months of project based work.

You can choose the time period when you want to work with RBI on their project. So it won’t clash with your law school schedule. Best of luck for the exam.

i want to ask dat the time period when we would have to work on rbi’s project(if one gets selected) then in case if it clashes with our law school schedule, then what will happen?
